Sustainably Designed + Handmade in Australia
As a small boutique label, we are always striving to create designs that are both beautiful and true to our personal values.
We are all aware (or should be) that the fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to global waste and pollution. The main cause of this is due to fast and disposable fashion trends. We are always evolving and trying to find new ways we can improve and minimise our environmental impact.
Our new sustainable Reclaimed Range pieces are made by repurposing discarded, vintage, or natural fabrics which would have otherwise ended up in landfill.
By creating styles out of pre-existing fabrics we are conserving water, energy and reducing waste, making designs that are as sustainable as they are beautiful.
The vision behind The Reclaimed Range is to help 'close the loop' in the fashion industry...
Each fabric and style is made in very limited numbers ( literally sometimes only one or two ). This is due to how we source our fabrics for this collection. Each fabric used is carefully chosen and hand selected by us. We use a combination of vintage, natural and reclaimed leftover fabrics from textile warehouses and other designers, which otherwise would have ended up in landfill.
Sometimes there may only be a few metres of a certain fabric, so only one or two styles will ever be made in that exact colour or pattern.
Each style is hand sewn in-house in Palm Beach on The Gold Coast by our highly skilled dressmaker Kimberley. Because each style is made in very limited numbers, quality and attention to detail is key.
It's one thing to use sustainable materials, but to create pieces in-house here on home soil is something we are really excited about. It's so rare to see 'Australian Made' on anything these days, especially when it comes to women's fashion.
We know how much you care about the environment, and we hope you are as passionate about this range as we are.
The Reclaimed Range is something we have been working on for quite some time, and it's only just the beginning...
